What is PriceGuess?
PriceGuess is a free educational site where you train "price literacy" by guessing prices across gold, stocks, real estate, crypto, salaries, tuition, airfare, and more. A new daily puzzle drops at midnight KST, and over 15 mini-quiz modes (chart quizzes, the Big Mac Index game, time machine, and so on) round out the library.
Why a game? People learn far more deeply when they guess first and check second than when they passively read numbers — an effect known in cognitive psychology as retrieval practice. Every PriceGuess mode is built as guess → instant feedback → short explanation, so within five minutes you can feel exactly which corner of your price intuition is the weakest.
PriceGuess is not an investment-recommendation site. Nowhere on the site do we say to buy or sell any asset; all data is either a historical public record or a derived measure such as the Big Mac Index. Who runs it?
PriceGuess is a small one-person educational project run by an editor based in South Korea. The site code, game data, blog posts, and guides are all written and reviewed by the same editor; every article displays a transparency block at the top showing author, publish date, tools used, and references. Because one person makes it, we never offer buy/sell opinions on specific tickers, coins, or properties, and advertising never influences game answers or editorial decisions.

Game Rules
- •A new price puzzle is released daily at midnight (KST).
- •You're given a past asset price and must guess the current price.
- •You have 6 attempts!
- •Within 5% error margin counts as correct.
- •After each guess, you get a higher/lower hint.
