PriceGuess does not require registration. Nicknames, game scores, and streaks are stored only in your browser's localStorage — never on a PriceGuess server. The leaderboard is local to your device and is not transmitted to any server. Representative keys include priceguess-data, priceguess-hl, priceguess-ta, priceguess-cq, priceguess-nickname, priceguess-leaderboard, priceguess-lang.
2. Advertising cookies and personalized ads
We show ads through Google AdSense. Google and other third-party advertising vendors may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other sites. These cookies help Google and its partners deliver ads, measure performance, and show more relevant ads across the web.

6. Local storage and cookie categories
- •Functional (localStorage) — Nickname, scores, language preference. Stored on-device only; not sent to any server.
- •Analytics — Google Analytics collects anonymized traffic patterns, approximate location, and device info.
- •Advertising — Google AdSense may set cookies for personalization, measurement, and frequency capping.
7. Regional rights (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland: you have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, and to data portability. If you are a California resident: under the CCPA you can request the categories and purposes of personal data we collect or share, and opt out of sale. Send any such request to the contact address below.
When personalized ads are served to users in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, this site applies a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP). Where appropriate, we instead restrict personalized-ad serving in those regions and show non-personalized ads only.
8. Children's information
This service is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in certain regions). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware of such collection, the data will be deleted promptly.
9. Third-party image host
Some images in blog posts load directly from the Unsplash CDN (images.unsplash.com). Those requests can include your browser IP, User-Agent, and the requested URL, per Unsplash's policy.
10. Information processed during service operations
Some records may be stored in your browser, and service operations may involve access logs, cookies, and analytics data. If PriceGuess ever adds server-side storage, this document will be updated first.
