✍️ Editorial Policy
Last updated: April 23, 2026
PriceGuess is a small educational site edited by a single author. The principles below apply equally to game data, Finance Insights articles, guides, and all informational pages.
1. What we cover (and what we don't)
We cover: historical price paths, general economic concepts, price-sense training, and explanations of public indicators (Big Mac Index, exchange rates, PPP, CPI, etc.).
We don't cover: buy/sell recommendations for any specific asset, timing calls ("buy now"), guaranteed-return language, or personal financial advice.
2. Fact checking
- •Numbers in articles are checked against public sources (official bodies, reputable news archives, major data feeds) before publishing.
- •Where a figure comes from a single source or moves quickly, we label it as 'approximate' or 'representative' rather than implying precision we do not have.
- •Where the date matters (for example, the oil price at a specific event), the date is stated in the text.
3. Corrections and updates
Incorrect figures, misleading phrasing, and out-of-date statistics are corrected as soon as we find them. Material changes are reflected in the article's 'last modified' metadata.
You can always flag an issue at yuseong2099@gmail.com. We review every report.
4. How AI is used
AI writing tools are used for some drafts. Every number, quote, claim, and editorial decision is reviewed and corrected by a human editor. Even when a sentence started as an AI draft, the final responsibility is the editor's.
5. Ads, affiliates, conflict of interest
- •The site shows Google AdSense ads. AdSense selects ads automatically — the editor does not shape game data or articles for any advertiser.
- •At this time there are no affiliate links, paid posts, sponsored content, or promotional deals. If that ever changes, such posts will be clearly labeled at the top of the article.
- •The editor is committed to disclosing positions in any asset specifically discussed. As of this policy's date, posts are not written around personal positions in individual tickers, coins, or properties.
6. User data and privacy
Gameplay records live in your browser's localStorage — not on a PriceGuess server. There are no accounts and no email collection. See the Privacy Policy for details.
7. Reading responsibly
Articles, numbers, and quizzes here are provided in an educational context. Real investment decisions should be based on regulated brokers, official filings, and advice tailored to your own situation.
